How to create and use News Sitemaps
Google News Sitemaps provide the search engine Google with metadata regarding the specific news content on a website. This Sitemap allows the site owner to control which content is submitted to Google News. Using the News Sitemap, Google News can quickly find the news articles contained on a site. The crawler is pointed directly to the URL for each news article, which ensures full coverage.
These Sitemaps identify the title and publication date of every article. Using genres and access tags, they also specify the type of content contained in the article. Article content is further identified using descriptions like stock tickers or relevant keywords. Google News Sitemaps are recommended for sites that are new, include dynamic content, or have a path that requires clicking several links to reach a news article.
To be able to use news sitemaps for your website you must request inclusion in Google News first, otherwise news sitemap will not be processed.
Sitemap Generator tracks the changes on your site automatically and create news sitemap in a separate file, including only new URLs for the last days.

Thank you for your contribution to the internet! I have used your free xml site map generator. I have tried many others but this is my personal favourite. It does the job and does it well.
This is on my definate buy list for next months website budget.
I used your online sitemap generator and was wildly impressed! I had used one on another site right before and it only picked up a few pages (and had several errors). Yours picked up 371 pages and validated completely! Thanks!
Your Sitemap Generator is so easy to use, even for an internet novice like me.
I like that it gives me a summary of pages indexed, broken links etc. Fast and very useful.
What a fabulous resource you have given us. Besides the sitemaps generated, your link checked for broken links has saved me many hours.
John W. Chapman,
We're using www.xml-sitemaps.com from v4 and I cannot be more satisfied with the results. Thanks a lot and keep on improving it.
I had been struggling to get a site map set up for my web site, using various programs offered by Google.
I downloaded your software and got the necessary .xml file up, working and accepted by Google within 20 minutes of the download!!
